What to bring to the pharmacy
When visiting the pharmacy, bring your government-issued ID, such as your BC Services Card, as well as your Personal Health Number (PHN). Prescriptions are issued based on the pharmacist's assessment and professional judgement. Treatment may include referral to another healthcare professional. Prescription medications prescribed by a pharmacist undergo the same coverage eligibility (both provincial and private) as physician-prescribed medications.
